My parents forgot it and the card is misplaced. I need my ssn to apply for a class. Can I call the social security office ?
Jonathan D asked:
My friend gets social security. He’ll be graduating this year. He’s 18. I’ve heard that when you graduate or turn 19, whichever comes first, you lose it. Also, I’ve heard you get it if you are attending college. What’s going to happen if he moves out of his parents house, graduates high school, but then goes to college? Also, will he continue to get the social security if he moves out of his parents house if he’s still going to high school?
dawg asked:
When my mother passed, everything went to my father. He is now terminally ill. Will his social security stop or continue to go to his estate until it is depleted?

I already filled out form 230 part 2 when i petitioned my parents to come to the states. in the form, i checked the box to request a ssn for them. Do I still need to go to the social security office to apply for the card or will it be mailed to their physical address?
